Exquisitely made from rows of fine bamboo strips, each bound with silk thread to form an overall image. Depicting pairs of birds, flowers and scholar's rocks and the set representing the four seasons.

The undulating ripples within the screens is achieved by aligning the strips in such a way that the 'knuckle' of the bamboo creates the shape.

Each blind retaining some of their original silk damask binding to the edges.
