Three chairs with the original L'Atelier label to the underside, the company establised by Zalszupin in 1959.

Brazil, circa 1960s

Polish architect Zalszupin moved to Brazil in 1949 and founded L'atelier in Sao Paulo a decade later. Highly influential in the design of the new Brazilia, he was known for his graceful, elegant lines and use of local woods., with impeccable craftsmanship and classic detailing.
