A fine Regency circular gilt mirror attributed to Thomas Fentham & Co

The circular giltwood frame with an ebonised reeded fillet enclosing a mercury glass and reverse painted plate, almost certainly manufactured in China and exported to England. The frame flanked by two candle arms and surmounted by a carved and ebonised eagle on gilded rocks. The frame rests on carved and scrolling acanthus leaves surrounding a central lion mask.
