Each with a champhered frame and bobbin turned stick backs above a caned seat on four facetted and tapered legs with turned knop feet.
England, circa 1815
The chairs are similar to those in a set of 12 that were supplied in 1814 for the 8th Duke of Bedford for Endsleigh, Devon. Sold at Christie's, Property from two Ducal Collections, 21 September 2004, lot 875.
