The splayed upholstered backrest above a saddle seat all covered in the original studded Niger leather on profiled mahogany legs joined by stretchers.
Manufactured by Rud. Rasmussen. Bearing the original maker's label to the underside alongside John Porter's label, the UK based dealer who sold the chair to Gordon Russell in the 1960s. Porter specialised in modern and contemporary Scandinavian design.
