Faced with Kangxi coromandel lacquer panels, probably originally from a 12-fold screen dating to the late 17th century, enclosing a fitted interior of drawers also faced with extraordinary polychrome coromandel lacquer of birds among foliage. All on a later early 19th century painted stand in the Kangxi manner.
