The rectangular over-hanging top, with its original inset leather, resting on two floating pedestals each with a cupboard beneath a drawer flanking a central frieze drawer, all with recessed pull handles. All supported by a simple plinth base with protruding feet.
France, circa 1937
Original provenance: the Puiforcat store on Boulevard Haussmann, the interiors of which were carried out in 1937 by René Herbst. The furniture of this installation was subsequently moved to the store on Avenue Matignon.
