The rectangular plate in a surround with diaper pattern and rosettes, the reverse with paper inventory label for Tring Park with Rothschild cypher.

Provenance: Originally the property of Baron Nathan Mayer Rothschild (1777 - 1836) of Tring Park Mansion.
Tring Park mansion was designed by Sir Christopher Wren in 1685. Past residents have included Sir William Gore, Sir Drummond Smith and members of the Rothschild family.
