Swedish green is a stone noted for its provenance throughout Sweden's royal palaces and is here arranged in harmony with a delicate, hand-raised and planished silver frame. The angle and softened elliptical shape of the mirror face is ergonomically suited, while altering the centre of gravity for stability.
Alex Foster is a furniture and lighting designer creating a considered collection of objects shaped by collaboration with master craftspeople. Rooted in classical forms yet informed by a contemporary perspective, his work balances restraint, material richness and sculptural presence.
