The silver plated base with four legs supporting a twin branch stand holding the oil reservoir. The wick housing now converted to electricity (without any interference or adaptation to the original metalwork) and holding the original wrythen vaseline glass shade supplied by James Powell & Sons, and the original glass chimney.

Stamped to the underside of the base '394 REGD, 392 REGD, 399 REGD' - all models which share the same base. Stamped 'BENSON' to the inside of the reservoir holder.
